INVITATION TO BID FOR NEGOTIATED PROCUREMENT UNDER TWO FAILED BIDDINGS FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF RICE

Approved Budget for the Contract: P198,000.00

In view of two (2) consecutive failed public biddings, the Municipality of Remedios T. Romualdez, Agusan del Norte Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) invites interested bidders to participate in the negotiation for the Supply and Delivery of Rice in accordance with Section 53.1 of the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (R.A.) No. 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act.”

The Municipality of Remedios T. Romualdez, Agusan del Norte now invites for Negotiated Procurement of Supply and Delivery of Rice.

Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA No. 5183.

Interested bidders may obtain further information from Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) and inspect the Bidding Documents/Request for Quotations (RFQ) at the address given below during 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on January 11, 2023-January 18, 2023.

Bidding Documents/Request for Quotations may be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the website of the Procuring Entity.

Opening of Eligibility Documents, Technical Proposal, and Best and Final Offer shall be on 18 January 2023, 10:00 a.m. at BAC Office, 2nd Floor, RTR Municipal Building. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below.

The Municipality of Remedios T. Romualdez, Agusan del Norte reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section 41 of RA 9184 and its IRR, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
